Finding Meaning

There has been an organization located right here in Maryland that has provided great support, directly and indirectly, for your Daddy, Mommy, and Big Sister, and that organization is the Center for Infant and Child Loss. Last week, the Director asked if she could use something Daddy wrote and share it in the upcoming Autumn newsletter. I was a bit hesitant at first, but (with Mommy's blessing) accepted the generous offer. As you know, this blog was started to get things out of my head so I could keep putting one foot in front of the other without constantly tripping all over the place. Over time it has grown into a place for Daddy to vent, share information (and misinformation), share pictures of you, and hopefully give others a place of commonality so they know that they just as insanely sane as your Dad. Hopefully, by allowing the Center to publish one of my posts to you, it will add to the last part of helping people. It is in this that I can understand and give meaning to your death...maybe your two month little soul was brought here to help bring peace to others and heal families sharing similar tragedies, or maybe Daddy just desperately hopes so. Either way, even though Daddy does the typing, the inspiration and credit go to you...so, thank you Colin!
