Daddy had double bedtime duty tonight, and loved it. Ava was so sleepy that Daddy did not even finish the story part of the program, but he finished singing the special remix song anyway. Ava never falls asleep without it, and Daddy did not want to chance it, so 'Hush Little Ava' came out in all its glory. Even if she could not hear it, Daddy knew it helped...not just her, but him. You see, there is comfort in those moments of innocense that nothing else even compares. There is, for ten minutes a night, peace in Daddy's heart, and while Ava may not have heard, we knew that she knew.
