Daddy here...just thinking about numbers. Ava corrected Mommy tonight when the family math was wrong. She made sure to say that the new baby makes five. It is not the only time Mommy or Daddy needed correction. Language makes it tough sometimes to say what we need to say. There are indeed five of us and we will make sure to try to stop using pleasantries to make others more comfortable. You are still number 4, making the new baby number 5. She will know that her place is just as important as yours, and just why the number 4 has a special meaning in our family.
