Space Shuttle

Daddy was thinking today about all the things you would be doing by now...the most fun would be watching you walk in the way only a toddler can. You would have that smiley waddle that makes every parent glow with pride, and Daddy would love holding out open arms to get you...that is if you Big Sister did not get to you first. Either way, thinking of all those moments that will never be realized made Daddy keenly aware of how much he misses you and how much he envies those parents who know nothing so horrible as to have to write these things. Just so you know, Daddy does not always dwell on this stuff...triggers just happen, and today Daddy saw a little boy, no older than you, staring up as the Space Shuttle flew over Goddard. His Daddy picked him up, kissed him, and went on his way. Daddy  does not fault this man or his son...rather, he is just envious in those moments we will never share.

I love you!

  1. I don't know why, but I thought of you today when I saw pictures of the shuttle. I wish that was something you got to share and experience with Colin.
